The International Maritime Risk Rating Agency (IMRRA), provides vessel operational safety risk ratings of Dry Bulk and Oil & Gas vessels, including operators to all marine sectors, ranging from small businesses to large corporations.
Founded in 2013, IMRRA’s aim is to solve the problems our clients have in managing their vessel risk mitigation, protecting investments and their business reputation.
We use a traffic light risk rating system of red, amber and green as a simple look-up tool for potential vessel risk, alongside a percentage risk rating to be compared directly to the fleet average, vessel age, vessel class and vessel type for safety performance.
IMRRA uniquely understands the vessel’s potential risk profile according to the prevailing market conditions, company risk preferences, and potential regulatory or contractual requirements.
We help companies not to reduce their risk, but to quantify and control their risks.
IMRRA aims to make the process of risk assessment in the marine shipping industry more transparent and time efficient for all.
